Not every work in progress makes it here, as some pieces stay private until they’re complete, but this space gives you a feel for the energy, sketches, and layers that bring each painting to life. My studio is a place of constant motion and a little bit of mess, where every canvas is somewhere between idea and masterpiece!
Still in the Saddle
This cowboy piece started as a side project in between commissions and has quickly become a crowd favorite. It was originally meant to be part of a three-piece series of collaged western realism, but I’m thinking it might hold its own. I haven’t had the chance to finish it yet… a good problem to have with commissions keeping me busy!
More Cowboys Coming Up
This upcoming piece is one I’m especially excited about! It’s for a country star whose music has been on my playlist for years. I won’t be showing it’s progress until it’s done but I can’t wait to bring this one to life. Definitely the most significant piece of my career for far!
